Curriculum

Learning for life starts with CURIOSITY

At Ramagya Roots we promote comprehensive growth, learning, development, and well being of children and provide a foundation for progress in their holistic development. We believe in recognizing each child holistically and aim to educate to develop socially, emotionally and academically confident children. Our purpose is to plant seeds in the lives of children and nurture them to make their ROOTS strong for life.

Every child is blessed with different bits of intelligence. We have designed an age-appropriate curriculum based on the Multiple Intelligence Theory. This The Multiple Intelligence Theory helps in the overall development of a child keeping in mind his/her capabilities and strengths wherein they need to manipulate, explore, and experiment with real objects. Play is the serious work of children.

Motor Development

Acquiring motor skills is just one part of children’s development. Mastering both fine and gross motor skills are important for children’s growth and independence. Having good motor control helps children explore the world around them and also helps with their cognitive development.

Language Development

Language and communication skills include the ability to understand others and express oneself using words, gestures, or facial expressions. Children who develop strong language and communication skills are more likely to arrive at school ready to learn.

Creative Development

Creative play and artistic activities have a central role in toddler’s learning and development. They help nurture imagination, and also develop problem-solving, thinking and motor skills.

Self Enhancement

When children practice self-help skills such as feeding and dressing themselves, they practice their large and small motor skills, gain confidence in their ability to try new things and build their self-esteem and gain pride in their independence.

Reflective and Existential Development

The emphasis is put on developing capability, self-reflection, and meta-cognition or an understanding of one’s own learning process. Philosophy with Children seeks to create a place and space for active engagement in philosophical thought that promotes broad, critical thinking skills.

Social Development

Developing social skills and interacting with the world is a critical part of growing up. Social skills are ways of dealing with others that create healthy and positive interactions. Children who have social skills can communicate clearly, calmly, and respectfully.
